During the past fifteen years, Dr. Eberhard Zangger has been consulted by more than 100 companies regarding their public relations and reputation management. A number of crisis cases have been de-escalated by him, with a 100 percent success rate. Eberhard Zangger established science communications with the goal to offer communications services of the highest standard. Before making this step, he was the corporate communications director at a pan-European telecommunications company and a senior consultant for strategic public relations in an established Zurich agency. Eberhard holds a PhD in natural sciences from Stanford University and worked as a researcher for several years at Cambridge University.
Regula Sigg completed her degree in international relations at the University of St. Gallen, which gave her a broad base across economics, law and politics. In addition to this, Regula possesses a license as an officially certified Swiss Copy Editor, and was a proofreader at the ‘Neue Zürcher Zeitung’ before joining the team at science communications in 2003. Throughout her career Regula has also worked for various publishing houses. Today she plays a pivotal role with regards to text work, layout and web design, along with administration, client management and finances.
After studying history, film and media studies at the University of Zurich, Alessandro Monachesi dedicated himself to ICT journalism. He was a part of the core team at the magazine ‘Netzwoche’ for nine years, where he was soon promoted to deputy editor in chief managing the daily news e-mail ‘Netzticker’. As a former ICT journalist, Alessandro has a flair for technical themes. At the same time he has learnt how to communicate complex information in a way easy to understand.
Nuria Büchi is a member of the science communications team since August 2012. Nuria earned her Master’s degree in mass communication and media research at University of Zurich, where she specialized in the analysis of public communication as well as the economic and political environment surrounding it. During her studies, she worked in reputation research investigating the logic of gain and loss of reputation in the media by international companies. Another expertise of Nuria is crisis management.
Beat Krapf has passed the Zurich University of the Arts with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication (Specialization Cast and Audiovisual Media) in the summer of 2013. Since 2009 he has worked independently on various social media and video projects for prestigious clients. Prior to joining the team of science communications in 2014, he managed all online communication channels in the ski resort of Arosa Lenzerheide. At science communications, he is employed as a specialist for new media, video and social media.
For 20 years, Dr. Andrea Heyde worked as a bookseller, book scout, editor, translator, literary agent and as head of the German Book Office, New York, hereby gaining broad insights into the different aspects of book publishing in German speaking countries and the U.S. At science communications, Andrea Heyde is responsible for book projects. She is also enganged with our clients. Andrea Heyde holds a PhD in German literature of the twentieth century from Freie Universität Berlin.
