Situation

While preparing a media training, the law faculty of the University of Lucerne realized it lacked a clear communications strategy.

Strategy

With our help, a task force consisting of members of the faculty board, the faculty’s spokeswoman and individual professors developed a strategy during a full-day workshop.

Implementation

The well-structured workshop helped define the starting position, strengths and weaknesses, goals, target groups, messages, and possible measures. Various ideas for implementing the workshop’s results, and for crisis prevention, were also discussed.

Result

A report summarized the results in condensed form and provided the faculty with a way into goal-oriented public relations. The faculty now agrees on the overall aims of its publicity efforts, and knows who it wants to address, and how.
